Procedure for ordering wagons and for work on the private sidings at Nurzhan

1. Orders for wagons for the coming month are handed in at the commercial office of the Nurzhan Rail Freight Depot by the 20th of the month before. Orders for traffic to or from Kazakhstan state the border station of exchange.

2. Wagons are placed on the private sidings (No. 3, No. 7, No. 11 and No. 14) by the depot's shunting locomotives at the times agreed with the owner of the siding and are taken away on notice of the end of loading.

3. The free time for loading or unloading a wagon is 24 hours from its placing; after that a charge for the use of the wagon is made for each day or part of a day.

4. Siding No. 14 is under customs control: wagons are placed and removed there only in the presence of a customs officer.

5. When the yards are under repair the commercial office announces the windows for work on the sidings in the freight notices on the railway's site.
