Leadership

The State Enterprise Irad Temir Jolu is headed by the Director-General. The enterprise is wholly owned by the Irad Special Economic Zone and answers to the Ministry of Transport (Minister Oleg Rudenko). The Director-General is assisted by the first deputy director-general (chief engineer) and by the deputies for traffic, commercial work and economics, who direct the services listed below.

Pavel Yugai

Pavel Yugai was born in 1966 in Kobozev (now Nurzhan). He began work as a train dispatcher on the Turksib in the Kobozev division and has worked on the railway all his life.

From 1993 he worked in the Territorial Railway Administration and, after 2008, in the State Enterprise Irad Temir Jolu. He has been Director-General since 2020.

The Director-General directs the work of the enterprise, signs its orders and answers for the safety of traffic. The enterprise speaks to the press through its spokesman.

The central dispatching office at Nurzhan station, which runs every train on the network round the clock, and the station staff.
